Now you can talk all you want, bring theology and say: "Well Pastor Prince, I don't believe in the prosperity gospel." And you're living in a landed property, you have two three cars, you're not for the prosperity gospel. Of course! Your not for Others having it. Yourself ok. It's funny isn't it? Why is it you go to heaven one day, streets of gold. There should be some slum somewhere.. If slum is of God to teach us humility, why not you live in one? No, deep down in our hearts, those who says: "I don't believe God heals everybody." And then they themselves when they are sick they go to the doctor. The FIRST thing they do they go to the doctor. So you believe it's not God's will to heal, and then you go to the doctor to be healed. Something doesn't click. Alright,
The elevator don't go all the way up. Who you trying to fool? Why be such a hypocrite? God has put in us all a desire to be well. You want your children to be sick? Of course not. No parent in their right mind. You are more righteous then God ah? So to me, I got no time to argue with people who come against prosperity. Because I know many times it's hypocrisy talking. They themselves don't do it. So God wants you well. God wants you prosperous. See God wants you to have plenty of money, but not to indulge, not to be selfish, not to be greedy, not to be covetous, but to be a great blessing. Because you know there are poor people, with plenty of money. But they are poor. Doesn't mean they are rich. Plenty of money doesn't mean you're rich. But when you're a giver, you're a blessing, and you have plenty of money, you are truly rich. Ok? Praise God.

2011-11-2 Rest In Jesus' Faith for Miracles Pastor Joseph Prince New Creation Church Sunday
When you see Jesus, you know it's like, there is no way you will ever ever forget that look. Amen. The beauty of our Lord Jesus Christ. And the responsibility of the pulpit is always to unveil the loveliness of Jesus. Amen.
The pulpit is not a place to show the goryness of men. Alright, Or the ugliness of men. It's the place to glorify our Lord Jesus and His glory. His beauty.
And what happens to men? Men that is struggling? Men that is imperfect, men that is ugly in a number of ways, in all our ways we have selfishness stampd on it.
What happens to that man when they look at Jesus - the perfect one, the unselfish one, the totally loving one? We are transformed into His image. From Glory to Glory. Isn't it wonderful?
Why talk about how ugly men is? We all know how ugly men is. Let's talk about how wonderful Jesus is. Let's talk about Jesus. Amen? The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
"Let's talk about Jesus, the King of Kings is here, the Lord of Lord supreme, through all eternity. The great I am The Way, the truth, the life, the door.
Let's talk about Jesus, more and more."
You know we talk about, we can talk about the weather, or you can talk about politics, you can talk about you know your economic problems and the world's economic downturn and all that, you get depression. You talk about Jesus, effortlessly you rise, above all your rejection, dejection, and depression. Amen? Isn't it wonderful? You know the Bible tells us about the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. They were on their way home. On the very day that Jesus rose from the dead, they were on their way home, Amen, they thought everything was lost, they were dejected, they were feeling depressed, they were talking to each other and encouraging each other to be more depressed. And then Jesus appeared. The resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, appeared in bodily form. But the Bible says their eyes were restrained less they should recognise Him. So, the Lord, literally restrained their eyes, their eyes were open but spiritually it was restrained from recognising him. And I ask Jesus one time, I said "Lord, why did you restrain their eyes, isn't it wonderful for them to see you Raised from the dead? I mean you should be showing off your nail prints, Amen? You should be showing off the fact that you have conquered death. Why did you restrain their eyes?"
You know the Lord said to me, "Because it was more important for them to see me, in the Scriptures, then to see me in person."
Now how cool is that.
Because He proceeded then on, to expound in the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. And what a journey, that 7 mile journey must be a blessed time of Bible study. Amen.
He touch on the entire Five books of Moses, the Torah, about Himself.
Then He touch on the law, alright, about Himself, and the prophets about Himself, everything points to Jesus. The entire Bible is all about Jesus. At the end of the journey the Bible says their hearts were, strangely warm. Amen? From dejected hearts to burning hearts. Not a bad deal. And it's all because they saw Jesus. They were literally lifted out of themselves, to behold an object of perfection, beauty and excellency, so much so they forget their troubles, amen and then He broke bread. Right? And then when they recognise Him He disappeared. Or rather He's there, but in the Greek it says, "He ceased to be visible." Now, I believe He set an example for us for every Sunday. Every Pastor listening to me, alright, I challenge you, I believe that Jesus, that FIrst sunday He rose from the dead, He was setting to us an example on how church life should be run. Alright first of all, it's an exposition from the pulpit about Himself. It's not about somebody else, it's not about you know how bad we are, it's not about politics, it's not about the world's economy and all that, it's all about HIMself. Amen?
Second thing, at the end of that journey, He broke bread. There must be communion. Because we DO communion IN REMEMBRANCE of Him. And His wonderful, dying love for us. His sacrifice for us.
We are reminded as we break bread together. What a, what a wonderful journey it was. One day I'm gonna ask God for the DVD. Alright in heaven. I wanna listen to what Jesus said. I'm sure when He came to Joseph, He was saying that, like Joseph who was rejected, so the son of Man was rejected. As Joseph revealed Himself, the second time He revealed Himself to the brothers, so Christ will reveal Himself when the second time he comes again, to all Israel. And all Israel will be saved. You know. And as they listened, they were lifted out of their depression.
One reason why they were depressed, is the same reason why we are depressed today. They said this:
Jesus says, in the beginning, "why are you walking and you are looking so sad."
The man said: "We thought that this Jesus, is the one, we thought that He was the one who should redeem Israel"
Notice?
They wanted to use Jesus to redeem their main agenda, Israel.
Now Israel has a very important place, in the divine economy of God. Alright. But how many understand, nothing is more important then Jesus being in centre place. Amen.
Our agenda, whether it's evangelism, even, even if it's reaching out to the poor, all these are good things. But they can never take centrestage. Jesus must be centre stage. Sometimes, we wanna Use Jesus for our agenda. No matter how good our agenda is, even if's evangelism, even if's reaching out to the poor, alright, ch, this is not a social gospel, it is the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's the gospel of Grace and Peace. And, if we put Jesus at the centre, the lesser, alright, your agenda and all that will not suffer. In fact they will be Blessed. And they will be attend to in the right Spirit. Amen.
Jesus put Himself back to the centre, and guess what, their depression left.
Sometimes we come to church, and we wanna use Jesus, to have a blessed family, and nothing wrong with that.
Wanna use Jesus to have a healed body, wanna use Jesus, and He is able to do all these! But He must be centre place. Not even our healing, not even our families. But you know something when He's centrestage? Every spoke of the wheel, is blessed. Amen. Every area of our lives are blessed. Amen ch? Don't you just love Jesus.
