Btw, "God helps those who help themselves" is not from the Bible. Many a times God cannot help people because they are helping themselves. That if God help them when they are helping themself, they might not say it is God, they will inwardly say "I did it." But God waits until you are about to drown, you cannot fight anymore,
Every lifesaver, every er lifeguard would know this - make sure the person is not strong or knock the person unconscious before you can save the person because as long as the person drowning still has strength, you are both goin dwn! Amen? So the Lord can save us when we are in a place to be saved.
So some people, obviously they are not weak enough, yet, so alot of hard knocks. Some people go through hard knocks until they are very old you know. I'm telling you, some people. I rather say "Lord, take over. I rest." Are you with me? So the thing we gotta watch out for it Man's Strength in yr life. "But Gen! This person is doing this! This person is doing that!" Trust God. Ok, there are some things God will tell me to do, there are some things God will say hands off. I'm dealing with something in this person's life. Ok? Alright? Are you with me. Man's effort, Man's flesh, Man's strength cannot come in.
