Familiarity Vs Intimacy With God

In Luke 14, he stepped into our sin-sick, self-centred world.  In Luke 15, he brought all of us, into His world. Of happiness. When someone allows him to use his saving power.

If the shepherd is Jesus finding lost items.

The third story, Jesus said, there was a man with two sons.

The younger came to him, and said to the father. Give me my share of the inheritance. Now that’s a terrible thing to say. In the middle East. In that day and age. Because it’s like saying “I can’t wait for you to die you know, you are taking too long. Give me my inheritance now.” And the old man gave him his inheritance, and the boy, took his inheritance, went to a far country, squandered all his living on sinful living and riotous living, the Bible said.

When his money ran out, his friends also ran out.

And finally he want to come home. And the Bible, Jesus said, when the father saw the son, across the horizon, the father did not wait, the father RAN towards the son. By now, he STINKS of pigs.
And the father embraced him, and kiss him all over. And the father shouted to all the servants: “BRING FORTH THE BEST ROBES! BRING SANDALS TO HIS FEET, BRING RING and PUT it on his finger. My son was lost. NOW HIS FOUND. He was DEAD, now he’s alive again.

KILL the fatted calf, let us celebrate, make merry, Let’s Party.

And who is this father?

If the good shepherd was Jesus, the woman, sweeping is the Holy Spirit,

who is this father?

The Heavenly Father.

All three divine persons are happy, saving you

When you go to church to find Jesus, you'd find him,
when you go to church to find man, you'd find man!
