When we think of the world, with all it's dangers, temptations and snares, we have every reason to be on our guard. For ourselves and our children. But when we think of the throne of Grace, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy"
When you think of the world with it's temptations and dangers, you are on your guard. But when you think of the throne of grace, with the inexhausible supply, and there's a high priest in that throne, he is most merciful, he is faithful and sympathetic, we can rejoice and come BOLDLY! TO RECEIVE our deepest needs. Come on church, HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD! So! When you come to focus on men! You look in the newspaper, men, men, men, men, what men has done! Of course you are depressed!
Come to church! And hear what God has done! What Jesus has done! What God is DOING even now! And God what God will do Amen!
When we think of ourselves, we are depressed, when you think of God, man, you are at rest! Hallelujah! Give Jesus the praise! Amen! THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH!
Beloved, we are persuaded, we are confident of better things concerning you. Things that accompany salvation. He gave you eternal life, you will never perish.
